James Donnelly & Sons is a transport and haulage company, potatoes supplier and storage company based in Portglenone, County Antrim, Northern Ireland (NI) serving all of Ireland and the UK.

James Donnelly & Sons was established as a potato and general merchants in the 1940s by the late Mr James Donnelly.

The business premises were originally sited on the Gortgole Road but as the business expanded a new site was acquired at 23 Ballymacombs Road and continues to trade from this site today.

The firm was originally a potato and general merchants supplying the farming community with fertilisers and other farm essentials as well as purchasing locally grown potatoes and the selling of these throughout Ireland and the UK.

The business is currently managed by Mr Peter and Mr Brendan Donnelly sons of the founder. They have continued to expand the business and have encouraged the next generation to work within the firm.
